AL HAYAT group of companies is based in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai & Ajman which specializes in Complete Interior fit out (Turnkey Projects), Joinery Works, Aluminum & Glass, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) building services, 3D Design works and Commercial brokerage, Operating since the late 2013.

From the very beginning we adopted a unique approach towards Our clients, catering to their specific needs and delivering upon their expectations. A very experienced and professional team stands behind the Al Hayat Interiors LLC group to deliver and maintain the highest standards of contracting services.

We employ highly qualified and technically competent managers, engineers, designers and technicians, Work force from different backgrounds and having knowledge of the UAEs best technical service practices, to capture a sizeable share of market. We are currently executing a number of projects in different sectors, commercial, residential and industrial type.

1. INTERIOR DECORATION - FIT OUT DIVISION

Al Hayat Interiors provides a bespoke specialist interiors fit out service as an integral part of the overall business. We started our journey with Introducing complete fit outs & renovation for retail shops all over Abu Dhabi & Al Ain (The Baqala Project) as per the Regulatory Act by government of Abu Dhabi to bring up high standards and facilities for Retail shops. We have achieved the successful completion of more than 500 Retail shops all across Abu Dhabi & Al Ain. We are specialist in Interior Designing for Hotels, Restaurants, Cafeterias, Corporate offices, and Residential (villas / palaces) sectors. With over a number years of experience in the region we have built an enviable reputation for our extensive portfolio of turnkey fit out, Joinery works and furnishings projects, where the highest quality delivery and client satisfaction is at the forefront of our service at all times.

Working closely with our Clients, we pride ourselves on our ability to solve problems, find innovative solutions and deliver the most demanding standards of finishes.

We directly employ a workforce comprising in-house specialists in Interior Designing, Acoustic Wall Cladding, Fabric Acoustic Cladding, Fire Resistance Doors, Gypsum, specialist moldings and finishing, tiling, marble to interior fit out carpenters, masons, decorators and a management team who understand high quality finishes. 3. MEP CONTRACTING

Electrical Works: Our Electrical Division handles all aspects of Electrical Works and the services. Including all Internal and External Power & Lighting Works, Installation of dressing of main and sub main Distribution board etc.

Mechanical HVAC Works: We have our HVAC Division highly equipped to handle all

aspects coming under the Air Conditioning and Ventilation Industry. This includes Closed Control Air Conditioning, Ventilation Systems, Heating Systems, Extract Systems. Installation of Water Cooled or Air Cooled Condenser, Air Handling & Fan Coil Units, Chilled Water Piping, Multi Split DX Units, Duct Works including Grilles & Diffusers, VAV Systems, Precision Units); Hot Water System (Electric water heaters, pumps, Booster pump & piping)

Plumbing Works: The services consist of complete Supply & Installation of PVC UPVC, PPR, HDPE, Steel, GI and Copper Pipe works; All Sanitary works; Water Supply Network; Drainage Network; Pipe Lines; Pumps; Central Water Filtration System; Entire Fire Fighting System including Fire Fighting Pump, Piping and Sprinkler Systems.

4. APPROVALS & DRAWINGS DIVISION

Approval processes can be a mine field if you don’t have someone to project manage the process. Al Hayat is a fully experienced team who already have relationships with authorities and facility management companies. We discuss project requirements with the appropriate local authority departments and take their comments and views into account during the early design phase. By engaging the relevant authorities in the preliminary stages, we are then fully informed and prepared, thus ensuring final design approval is secured.

We are specialized in taking APPROVALS from all authorities in Dubai including but not limited to Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defense, Dubai Electricity & Water Authority Etc. We take approvals from authorities on your behalf and you can focus on the completion of fit out work. We have our own in-house team of expert designers and engineers with years of experience. We prepare all the required full set of drawings to the authorities and take approval on behalf of your company.

IX - METHOD STATEMENT FOR INTERIOR FIT-OUT WORKS

1. INTRODUCTION

AL HAYAT INTERIORS L.L.C – Interior fit-out division specializes in turnkey interior fit out works. The interior fit-out division was established in 2017 and its emergence was a natural progression to cater for the ever-increasing market sophistication and requirements.

With AL HAYAT INTERIORS LLC, clients can be assured that their orders are processed from start to finish by an experienced team of managers, engineers, supervisors, draftsmen and tradesmen who will deliver to their expectations.

With a team of highly skilled Carpenters, painters and gypsum craftsmen AL HAYAT INTERIORS L.L.C is bound to become synonymous with commitment and quality. In AL HAYAT INTERIORS L.L.C clients would find a reliable name keen on living up to professional and international standards, over and above a company with thorough understanding of the requirements of the local market.

Within this capability, AL HAYAT INTERIORS L.L.C is backed by a carpentry and joinery factory of 3,000 sq. ft. located in Ras Al khor Dubai to provide functional and decorative joinery for large scale projects all over the United Arab Emirates.

High-quality materials imported from all over the world are used in the joinery production. A myriad of combinations is available for interior applications, which testify to the professionalism and expertise of our craftsmen and artisans. Each specification is carefully studied to extract the data, sequence and layouts, which best satisfy the visual and aesthetic effects desired for the project in hand. Working with the designer, samples and layouts are scrutinized to ensure that the planned results are achieved.

3. PROCESS CONTROL

A Quality and Process Control System is maintained by AL HAYAT INTERIORS LLC – Interior fitout division.

a) Commencement – Submittals Shop Drawings: Shop drawings are submitted to the lead consultant as required. Site conditions are verified and measurements taken prior to preparing shop drawings to ensure accurate installation of work. Samples: Samples of materials, color and finishes etc. are submitted to the lead consultant for approval. Identical samples are held by our Quality Control Department. Sample Unit: Samples of typical panels are submitted to the lead consultant for review where necessary. Sample unites remain on site and in our factory as a standard for both manufacture and installation work. Product Date: Manufacturers’ product date is submitted for each item as required by the Consultant to verify evidence of compliance.

b) Material Control – Delivery Storage and Handling All materials and components are handled carefully to prevent damage and are assessed for compliance prior to production.

Wherever possible, components are not delivered to site until the work of wet trades are complete. Components are protected from moisture. Tagging is utilized for identification purposes as necessary and secure storage areas maintained for portable items

c) On-Site Activities –Installation

All materials and components are delivered to site as per site dimension and shop drawings for installation. Installation takes place in accordance with our own site requirements and manufacturer’s instructions as specified. Necessary site adjustments assure correct and trouble-free installation. Allowances are made where fixed objects pass through, or project into or around, the periphery of installed work to permit normal movement without restriction. Units are set level, plumb, and to line and location. All openings are prepared to ensure that square and clean edges are left after cutting. Ambient conditions of temperature, humidity and lighting are checked to ensure quality is maintained.

4. Responsibilities

i. AL HAYAT INTERIORS LLC Project Manager shall be responsible for the implementation of this method statement.

ii. Project Manager is responsible to co-ordinate with the company PRO and

the local bodies for obtaining necessary and essential work permits – if any, for proceeding with the works.

iii. Project Manager/ Project Engineer will ensure that the resources are

available to carry out the works as scheduled.

iv. The Project Engineer/ Site Engineer are responsible to carry out the works as per approved Shop Drawings, Method Statements.

v. The Site Engineer/ Supervisor are responsible to ensure that the work has

been carried out as per drawings and inspections are done as per contract.

5. PROJECT CLOSURE

AL HAYAT INTERIORS LLC will formulate close-out of project in order to ensure the

project closure is done to the satisfaction of client. Defining a clear end or cut-off point is

important to ensure the scope; budget and scheduled are managed properly.

Included in project closure checklist are following:

a. Are all project activities finished?

b. Complete any outstanding tasks

c. Are all required deliverables complete?

d. Obtain necessary acceptances and approvals.

e. Handover warranties, maintenance and operation manuals of equipment’s installed.

f. Receive final sign-off that the customer has accepted the project.

g. Document “Lessons Learned” for internal use.

XI - MANAGEMENT, HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN

This manual describes the management and safety arrangements to be adopted by Al Hayat

Interiors LLC during Interior Fit-Out works operations. The document will suffice for the

majority of works undertaken by the Company. Where additions and amendments are

necessary, we will submit the same as needed.

1. PREAMBLE

1.1. The work to be carried out by Al Hayat as detailed in the contract documentation.

1.2. This manual covers health and safety operations by the Company which

take place on sites controlled and managed by main contractor,

1.3. The Company will confirm to other subcontractor that all his operatives

have previous experience of all aspects of work involved in the project.

Evidence of training may be made available for inspection if required.

2. DEVELOPMENT OF THE HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN

2.1. Any relevant information contained within the Health & Safety Plan

developed by contractor must be passed to the Consultant for reference.

2.2. Copies of all relevant health and safety documentation will be retained on

site by the main contractor for reference as necessary.

2.3. The Company will make the following documents and information

available on site, ensure that they are applicable and relevant to the project in

hand and that, where appropriate,

(a) This Health and safety manual. (b) Generic and specific Risk Assessments prepared by the Company. (c) Evidence of training for site personnel. (d) Inspection records for the equipment to be used. (e) Such other information and documentation as is necessary.

3. SITE MANAGEMENT

3.1. The Company will be represented on site during the project by an

experienced Site manager, Engineers, foremen/supervisors.

3.2. The Company site manager will be responsible for ensuring that all works

carried out by the Company's employees are carried out according to this Health

& Safety legislation, the principal contractor's health and safety requirements and

their own safe systems of work. This will be achieved with the assistance of

induction training and toolbox talks.

3.3. The project manager will ensure that all work equipment is checked and

certificated as appropriate. No work equipment will be used unless it is safe

and suitable for its intended purpose.

4. SECURITY

4.1. Contractor will be responsible for securing the site against unauthorized

entry outside working hours.

4.2. All equipment, tools and materials supplied by the company will be placed

into safe storage whenever the site is to be left unattended.

4.3. Additional care will be taken by the company to ensure that loading,

unloading and other hazardous operations do not take place in areas where other

site contractors, members of the public and other non-construction personnel are

present or may enter.

5. SUB CONTRACTORS

5.1. Where sub-contractors re engaged by the Company individually on a labor

basis only, they will be treated by the Company as employees for the purposes of

health and safety management.

5.2. Sub-contractor companies will be selected after consideration of previous

contracts, references and/or responses provided to the client. Sub-Contractor

Assessment Questionnaire. Once selected, contractors will be provided with a

copy of our Safety Code for Sub Contractors and instructed to adhere to the rules

and conditions laid down.

6. MANUAL HANDLING

6.1. All manual handling operations carried out by Company employees will be

assessed by the project manager who will advise on the methods to be adopted.

6.2. Full procedures for assessing manual handling tasks and ensuring safety during manual handling operations are contained within the Company safety

manual. These will be adhered to at all times by our employees, who are given free access to all health and safety information.

7. TRAINING

7.1. No person will be permitted to operate any plant, machinery or equipment

unless competent and authorized to do so. Where formal training and certification

is required,

7.2. All persons will be made aware of the contents of this manual and instructed

to work according to its requirements.

7.3. All site personnel working under the control of contractor will receive site

induction training which will include reference to the following: -

(a) The work to be carried out (b) Emergency and first aid procedures (c) Manual Handling (d) Lifting operations (e) General site safety (f) Information on other site activities which may affect operations

7.4. Records of training will be kept.

7.5. Contractor may also wish to provide induction training to subcontractor

companies personnel prior to them commencing on site.

8. EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

8.1. The evacuation/fire assembly point will be determined by the contractor and

advised to the site engineer, who will ensure that this and all other health and

safety information is passed to persons under his control.

8.2. Minor first aid will be attended to on site. The supervisor will be nominated as

the person responsible for Company first-aid and emergency procedures while on

site. A deputy will be appointed if it is necessary for the nominated person to

leave site during working hours.

8.3. A first aid kit will be kept in the site portal cabin.

8.4. Company employees will be instructed to report to the appointed person if

they suffer any accident or injury whilst at work. The appointed person will in turn

notify the principal contractor.

9. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

9.1. Operatives will wear safety headgear at all times.

9.2. Suitable safety footwear fitted with steel toe-protectors will be worn by all

company personnel. Casual shoes and trainers will not be permitted.

9.3. All personnel are required to wear high visibility clothing at all times. This

clothing must be suitable for the working environment and prevailing weather

conditions.

9.4. A supply of eye, hearing and respiratory protection and protective clothing

will be made available for use where required and according to on site conditions.

The wearing of PPE will be strictly monitored by the site engineer as part of his

supervisory duties.

10. OVERHEAD AND BURIED SERVICES

10.1. An assessment will be made on each site to establish if there are

overhead or buried services that may create a Safety hazard to operatives.

10.2. Should buried services be present, the following system of work will be followed: -

(a) Obtain information from client. (b) Consult available drawings and Utility Services to obtain information as to

approximate location of services and the feasibility of disconnecting them.

(c) Use cable detection tools to obtain accurate information. (d) Mark service locations at ground level. (e) Use hand-digging measures to expose live services.

12.1. All necessary statutory instruments and notices will be made available by Main contractor.

12.2. A copy of this safety manual will be available on site.

13. COMMUNICATION AND CO-OPERATION

13.1. Prior to commencement on site, a meeting will be held and attended by all employees. The purpose of this meeting will be to ensure that all personnel are: -

(a) Site inducted (b) Aware of the contents of this project method statement and risk assessment (c) Aware of the tasks which have been allocated to them and capable

of carrying them out safely (d) Aware of the activities and locations of their colleagues and other site contractors

13.2. Wherever practicable, work will be rotated so as to provide all employees with ongoing experience of all aspects of the work.
