S. Bhanu Prakash (M.S Mechanical engineer, U.S.A)
Founder of Akshaya Knowledge Center
I, S. Bhanu Prakash, have completed my Master of Science
degree in Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M
University (TAMU), U.S.A. I worked at TAMU’s Non-
Destructive testing and Non metallic materials laboratories
for 5 years before coming back to India. I am currently
working as the science and mathematics department head
at the Jeeyar research center (Muchintal, Hyderabad). I
am also the founder of Akshaya Knowledge Center and
Shrusti innovations.
The following activities are performed by Akshaya
Knowledge Center and Shrusti innovations
Teacher training workshops to Physical Science teachers and students.
Physics equipment sales to government and private educational
organizations
Association with SCERT (Telangana) in development of Lab Manuals.
Some of my Accomplishments
Trained more than 6000 physical science teachers through workshops across
18 districts in Telangana state
Worked with more than 40 schools in providing practical education to more
than 15000 high school students
Associated with SCERT (Telangana), Forum for physical science teachers
(FPST) and Indian association of physical science teachers (IAPT) for subject
enhancement of physical science teachers.
Involved in training more than 100 state resource persons of Telangana state
in May 2017 at TSIPARD, Rajendranagar. The event was organized by
SCERT Telangana.
Authored part of a Laboratory procedure manual organized and edited by
SCERT Telangana.
