ACHIEVEMENT SUMMARY

On shop factory visits to improve welding quality & practices.

Our team made 2 vendors self-certified & I being the key member for documentation

visits, Year (2015-16) in & around Pune. Also guided vendors all over India regarding

welding documentation.

More than 20 vendors educated & trained in codes & standards.

Also more than 100 welders were qualified for on job welding which were non-qualified

previously & were still wrongly used on jobs.

Tried successfully to improve vendor welding quality practices on job.

Cost saved by avoiding intermediate consultants for Thermax jobs.

Successfully completed welding inspector course & coating inspector course out of my

own interest conducted internally for Thermax employees.

Attended Kaizan & Safety Trainings along with completion of 31 safety training modules

conducted by skill soft within target date.

Received customer approvals on various projects in which my reviewed docs were used

for carrying welding on jobs.

Got appreciation from my supervisor & HOD for good work & sincerity throughout the

tenure in organization.

PG PROJECT:

1) Study of CTOD properties of 9-CHROME STEELS.

2) Optimization of welding parameters for resistance Spot welding process for SS sheets.

SUMMER INTERNSHIP:

Industrial exposure by undergoing training along-with project titled ‘FCAW PROCESS

STANDARDIZATION’ in the month of JUNE-2013 in L&T MHI Surat, during my M.Tech.

UG PROJECT: MULTI-PURPOSE BUFFING MACHINE

It is electrically run hand operated machine used to polish a variety of metals with low hardness

such as LCS, MCS, HCS, Copper, brass, zinc, etc. It uses a 0.05HP motor with abrasive papers

used in tandem made of Al2O3 or SiO2. Regulator is provided to control its speed. At high RPM it

gives a mirror finish.

INDUSTRIAL TRAINING:

1) Industrial visit to GB Engineering Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. (OCT 2012).

2) In plant training in IGTR AURANGABAD in DEGREE course where I underwent training in

design software UNIGRAPHICS NX7.0, CNC MACHINING and CAM (JULY-AUG 2010).
