Comix Home Base conserves a rare and intact shophouse ensemble dated 1910s (Grade 2 heritage

listed historic building in Hong Kong) and revives the traditional architectural fabric for modern leisure

and commercial use.

Edward Leung was the design director of Aedas for this project. With 25 years of professional

experience, he is a qualified architectural conservationist and known for his expertise in heritage

conservation.

The Fall Lecture Series at CUHK is organized around projects awarded by the HKIA Annual Awards

2013 and 2014. Conceived in the form of architectural case studies, the lectures aim to convey

the challenges confronted by the architects from design inception of the project through its material

realization in construction.
