Even beyond this, DC Aviation’s emphasis ison very personal service:Our cockpit personnel are recruited, trained, andregularly monitored according to strict Lufthansaguidelines. To guarantee maximum operationalreadiness, we have a large number of highly competentand experienced pilots on hand. Even our cabinpersonnel undergo intensive training and continuingeducation. This includes regular training at LufthansaFlight Training GmbH. Within this renowned trainingcenter, our flight personnel are trained in the topics ofrescue and safety, fire-fighting and handling hazardousmaterials, to name a few. We also train our cabinpersonnel in the areas of security und crew resourcemanagement.

Your health is also in good hands at DC Aviation: inannual first aid training sessions, our cabin personnelis trained in the use of defibrillators. The most modernautomated defibrillators are on hand in all of ouraircraft.The med con team is also available to assist us inmedical emergencies. The team’s 24/7 alarm centerspecializes in tele-medical assistance during flight.Via telecommunication, especially well trained expertsguide the first-aid crewmembers through criticalsituations in a professional manner. Comprehensiveand regular training as well as continuing educationin “VIP Service” round out our extensive trainingprogram. Safety is the corporate philosophy that we live by.When it comes to safety at the airline level, we set anew standard in Business Aviation. We are the onlyGerman company and one of only four business aviationcompanies worldwide to submit ourselves to the IATAOperational Safety Audit, known as IOSA for short. Thisis a uniform, worldwide, extremely rigorous safety andquality audit, which is stipulated as mandatory forscheduled flight companies – but not for businessaviation providers.The number of incidents and accidents for IOSA-certifiedflight operators is 77% lower than for companies withoutthe certificate.The quality seal of IATA stands for the most demandingstandard available on the market, a standard by whichthe operative management and controlling systems ofan airline company are analyzed for operational safetyand quality assurance. The audit is carried out byindependent external companies that are certified bythe IATA.The audit of DC Aviation was carried out by five auditors,who inspected more than 1000 standards and processesagain in 2014. As in previous years, we received anassessment of “very good.” Our extremely strong safety

orientation already earned us considerable distinctionsin the past – thus we were one of only three providers toreceive the Platinum Safety of Flight Award for 100,000incident-free flight hours in 2012.

Safety is Experience.The concept of ‚safety through routine‘ forms anintegral element of DC Aviation’s corporate philosophy.When still a subsidiary of the DaimlerChrysler AG,DC Aviation handled the entire regular shuttle trafficbetween the two corporate headquarters in Stuttgart

and Detroit. During this period alone, we performedapproximately 30,000 flight hours on the Airbus andmore than 18,000 flight hours with our Citation-XLS(+)fleet. This unusually extensive flight experience with adiverse fleet is a unique advantage DC Aviation has tooffer.

Maximum conservation of value, maximum safety.We have extensive competence with respect to themaintenance of a wide variety of airplane types – lastbut not least thanks to close collaboration with themanufacturers. Because of this, we are able to procurespare parts very quickly, and can guarantee uncompli-cated warranty management. At our site on StuttgartAirport, we operate one of the largest hangars in theindustry consisting of about 5,000 square meters.Among other things, we have at our disposal spareparts valued at more than 6.5 million Euro, as well asspecial tools for specific airplane types, test equipment,and a Maintenance Logistics Center. We also indepen-dently carry out unexpected repair work that may arise,quickly and flexibly.We will develop a maintenance program for your jet thatis specifically designed for your flight requirements.All of the EASA conditions for upholding and certifyingairworthiness are met with the complete CAMO+certification.
