WHAT IS THE AIR?

The air is important for the breathing of all the livings beings: plants, animals and people. The air is an mixture of gas: nitrogen, oxygen, carbonic anhydride, vapour aqueous and other gas.

The air wrap up the earth, it is present in the water, it is present all the living beings, full every empty space.

The air doesn't have colour, the air doesn't have odour, the air is not seen, but it produces different effects: The air inflates the sails of

the boats… The air moves the parachute and the hot-air balloon… The air sustains the birds in flight… The air moves the leaves… The air makes to fly the kites…

TO SPEAK OF THE AIR, THE PUPILS OF THE INFANT SCHOOL AND THE PUPILS OF THE PRIMARY SCHOOL, THEY USED POEMS, CHILDREN’S STORIES, RHYMES, DRAWINGS AND THEY HAVE DOING EXPERIMENTS, SLOGAN, THE WALKS TO WOOD WITH FRIENDS AND WITH PARENTS, RUNNING TO BICYCLE.

I AM THE TRANSPARENT AIR YOU DON'T SEE ME, BUT I AM IN THE ENVIRONMENT. AIR TO BREATHE AIR FOR THE BIRDS AIR WITH THE CLOUDS AIR WITH THE WIND AND THE DOWNPOURS.

IT TAKES THE MASK IN THE TRAFFIC OF THE MORNING.

THE AIR IS TOO POLLUTED: WOULD LIKE US A BEAUTIFUL CARE

TO MAKE THE CLEAR MACAW AND PURE.

TO KEEP THE CLEAN AIR IS NECESSARY:

1. WALKING ON FOOT

2. USING BUS OR PUBBLIC TRASPORTS

3. PLANTING LOTS OF TREES.

DON'T POLLUTE IT NEEDS: •to go by bicycle •to use the tram or bus or train •to decrease the temperature of the heaters •to use the filters of purification in the industries

IT IS NOT IMPOSSIBLE IT CAN BE DONE:WE TAKE BUS, STREETCAR, METER OR BICYCLE WE DEPART FIRST THE MORNING AND WE TAKE A LONG WALK

Sunday, 4 of october 2009, in Altamura there was the day without car. This activity, about AIR, was in collaboration by Major of Altamura.

Altamura’ s people went by bicycle for roads of town.

Children of Altamura’s all schools were involved in this activity with posters, drawings, pictures and slogan.

Many children of all schools won a prize for their job: balloon, bike, sporting bag, pizza, cinema ticket, colours …

Our child Diego won a red bike: he was very happy.

Other children, also, in our school won a prize.

HOW MUCH NOISES IN THE CITY!I BECOME DEAF!

TALES, RHYMES, DRAWINGS, EXPERIMENTS, RESEARCH HAVE BEEN CARRIED OUT IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND HOW FONDAMENTAL THE AIR IS FOR LIFE, AND EVERYONE SHOULD BE AWARE OF ITS VALUE.

AT THE END OF OUR WORK PUPILS KNOW:
