Launched officially on March 16th 2015, the Community College of the Air Force's Air Force Credentialing Opportunities On-Line (AF COOL) program is a pathway for enlisted Airmen to earn industry recognized professional certifications and licenses to enhance their active-duty work and to prepare them as they transition to the civilian job market after they leave the service.

AF COOL is a Total Force enlisted program. It includes all enlisted AFSCs for active duty, AFRES, and ANG. Funding will be provided for ADAF, AFRES, and ANG members on Title 10 or Title 32 active duty orders. AFRES and ANG members not on Title 10 orders may receive payment from their respective components.

WHAT IS AF COOL? - $4,500 towards a certification, credential, or licensure that is applicable to your AFSC

- SNCOs are eligible for an additional pool of certifications such as the PMP, CIPM, or Six Sigma Black Belt

- AF COOL funds can be used towards training courses, exam fees, books, and other types of study materials

From the beginning, their staff was extremely knowledgeable in the Air Force COOL process and even had an existing relationship with their counselors which made acquiring funding a smooth process.” -MSgt (ret) Erich Freundner

After taking a course with Dynamic Advancement, I followed their study framework and passed the PMP on my first attempt!

Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)The Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) designation shows you have the skills and knowledge to find vulnerabilities in computer systems and to prevent hacking. An “ethical hacker” is someone who uses the same skills and knowledge as a malicious hacker to develop security measures to prevent potential attacks. Typically, businesses will ask you to think like a hacker to find weaknesses in computer systems and networks and with that knowledge, it’s easier to fix security gaps and prevent potential threats.

*Average salary for a CEH certified individual: $106,375

Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM)The CFCM certification validates an individuals education, training, experience, and your knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
