Google India  announced a partnership with the Central Board ofSecondary Education (CBSE) at the sixth edition of  Google forIndia. Google.org has also announced a $1 million grant toKaivalya Education Foundation as part of the Distance LearningFund. This would enable it, along with the Central SquareFoundation and the TeacherApp, to train 700,000 teachers in Indiato deliver virtual education for students through TV and radiowhere smartphones are not available. This is apart from the  $10billion fund  announced by the search giant on Monday to speedup India’s digital economy.The Google for India Digitization Fund,will focus on areas important to India’s digitisation,including  internet  access in local languages, building newproducts and services.
