Inflammation is a complex biological response involved in pathogenesis of a variety of diseases. Although steroids and NSAIDs are the main therapeutic agents in inflammation they cause serious side effects. Therefore, the development of new materials with comparable results and no side effects is needed. Viburnum opulus possesses promising antinociceptive activity (1), exerts a potent gastroduodenoprotective activity (2) and inhibited inflammation of HaKaT cells exposed to UVB and skin thickness in psoriasis (3) .
