SPAS ARE OURHERITAGE
Aika was conceived in a spa in Melbourne, Australia, created by Eranthi Bonney, a mother of two who owned and operated two high-end wellness spas. Eranthi was tired of the beauty industry lies and greenwashing about supposedly ‘chemical free’, ‘natural’ and ‘organic’ products that didn’t deliver.
She knew what her discerning clients wanted: a beauty solution that’s pure, sustainable and luxurious. A wellness range inspired by ancient rituals and infused with modern sensibilities.
Growing up in Sri Lanka, Eranthi remembers with great love how her grandmothers would massage the children head to toe in herbal oils to strengthen their bodies, beautify their skin and add lustre to their hair.
One day when she was massaging her own children, it dawned on her: she was subconsciously following a centuries’ old tradition of wholeness and wellbeing.
