Structured (Re)Insurance Solutions

• Managing the volatility in ‘baskets’ of risks across multiple year time horizons

• Single aggregate limit (& sub-limits) of liability over policy term

• Incorporating limited, but reasonably significant leverage (i.e. finite risk, not financial (re)insurance)

• Including risks where traditional market solutions are inefficient or unavailable

• Use of experience account mechanisms and substantial profit commissions to align interests

• Distribution via traditional (re)insurance broking channels, but also captive managers, structured financiers and investment/commercial bankers

• Tend to be non-catastrophic, non-correlated specific risks • Suitable for captive risk management and contingent capital,

or as ‘quasi-captives’

Facility Structure & Operation

• Backed by Kuwait Reinsurance Company (www.kuwaitre.com), which is rated A- (Excellent) by AM Best and BBB+ by Standard & Poor’s

• Binding Authority terms and conditions based on latest London Market Association wordings

• Individual proposals will be sourced/entertained/investigated fully

• Any potential ‘real deals’ will be structured and negotiated to assess their suitability

• Suitable risk models will be developed to allocate risk capital and estimate associated return levels
