Our members are interested in world issues, leadership and management. Our six core values are activating leadership, enjoying participation, striving for excellence, demonstrating integrity, living diversity and acting sustainably.

The AIESEC Experience

Coming out from the AIESEC experience, the members are ready to head for future and to make positive impacts on the society.

Hire through the Global Internship Programme

Since 2008, AIESEC has brought in 46 successful international interns for companies and organizations in Mongolia. Your Benefits

Customized Hiring AIESEC can source talent with particular language or technical skills from specific regions that are not readily available or affordable. We provide candidates with unique skill sets, leadership qualities, and global mindsets that address your hiring needs.

Flexible Timing The Global Internship Programme allows you to manage seasonal peak times and special projects with high-quality, temporary international talent. Interns can stay for short or long term internships ranging from 6 to 78 weeks (18 months) with start and end dates that suit your organization’s needs.

Hassle-Free Process The job description and candidate profile is outlined and designed in consultation with your organization, and we take care of the rest. AIESEC facilitates arrangements for the interview and selection process, and integrating the intern into the community.

Cost-Effective Solution You will have access to qualified candidates for minimal costs, as our interns are looking for both personal and professional development. The expenses consist of the intern’s salary (minimum USD 500 monthly) and the administration fee for our work.

Programme Components The Global Internship Programme has three types of internship categories: Education, Management, and Technical

Educational Internships in academic fields and sectors related to teaching English, or another aspect of education, including cultural awareness, curriculum and course material development.

Management Internships related to general business functions, including administration, finance, accounting, marketing, project management, and human resources.

Technical Internships related to engineering or information technology including web and software development, programming, system analysis and design, network and database management.

CSR Opportunities AIESEC is renowned worldwide for its international volunteer projects. This year, we will be launching the Global Community Development Programme, a series international volunteer-staffed projects aimed at creating a positive impact on targeted social issues affecting Ulaanbaatar. Medical Outreach

Healthcare in Mongolia is poor and low in availability. During the winter months, many Mongolians who live in the countryside migrate to Ulaanbaatar in search of opportunities – and shelter. We plan on organizing a PBOX to address the medical needs of internal migrants to Ulaanbaatar.

Alcoholism The World Health Organization recently identified alcohol abuse as a major stumbling block in Mongoila’s economic development. Alcoholism is a particularly dangerous problem in the winter, with many people dying during the winter as a result of being under the influence and exposed to extremely freezing conditions at nighttime. A 2006 survey found that 22% of men and 5% of women in Mongolia are heavily dependent on alcohol.

We will be working with social businesses in Ulaanbaatar to deliver an alcohol abuse education programme for secondary school students, as well as to provide AIESEC interns the opportunity to learn first-hand about alcoholism and substance abuse from a developing country point-of-view.

LGBT Rights Similar to many countries worldwide, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) community remains marginalized in Mongolia. Just this year, the Mongolian Parliament discussed LGBT rights and issues for the first time ever. Discrimination and intolerance towards the LGBT community in Mongolia remain high.

We will work with NGOs dedicated to improving LGBT awareness, rights, and recognition in order to provide training and education on LGBT issues to secondary school students.
