Outside of AHG…: I just recently joined the Orchard Hill Church staff on a part-time temporary basis to assist with a

new software project while I am evaluating other possible new career opportunities. My primary passions include on-

going learning - particularly in the areas of spirituality, leadership, business, parenting and software technologies. I am

an avid reader and always enjoy connecting with others to read a good book together! I also love to travel and explore

new places!

Other Information: I have a heart for the AHG ministry—to encourage girls in becoming God-centered, confident,

humble women who will impact our world for the better!

Outside of AHG…: I am blessed to say that I was adopted when I was 3 weeks old. I grew up in Stone Mountain, GA and have

lived here in the Pittsburgh region since 1995. Prior to moving to PA, I was a Director of Youth and Young Adults in Atlanta, a High

School Biology Teacher and Basketball, Volleyball and Softball Coach. Upon moving here, I helped my husband at Grieb

Chiropractic Clinic and served as his Office Manager. Then, God led our family into the world of homeschooling. I have been home-

schooling since 2005. I have also served at Orchard Hill Church on their Board, started AHG in July 2010 as Coordinator, served on

the Women's Ministry team, taught a variety of Bible studies, and served as a Small Group Bible Study leader since 1999. My

hobbies include: spending time with my family both here and at Conneaut Lake, Bible study, crocheting, travel, photography,

reading, spending time with friends and Facebook!

Family Info: I've been married to my wonderful husband Derrick for 12 years. We have 4 children with a 5th on the

way this December. Carter is 8, Reese (who participates in AHG) is 7, Sienna is 3 and Lawson is 1.

Outside of AHG…: I'm a stay at home mom. I home school my two older children, Carter and Reese who are going into 3rd and

2nd grades. I participate in Community Bible Study. I love to exercise (run when I'm not pregnant!), write on my blog, I love cook-

ing, and love being outdoors.

Jennifer Luptak, Events Coordinator Joined AHG: September 2013

Family Info: My husband, Steve, and I live in Franklin Park. We have three kids- Malia is 8 years old

(AHG Tenderheart), Austin is 5, and Meadow is 2.

Outside of AHG…: Outside of AHG, I am a stay at home mom to our three children, crazy 1 year old dog, and old, sweet cat

who hates the dog. I have been a vegetarian for over 20 years, and I am passionate about animal welfare issues and animal rescue.

I try to help animals anywhere I can in any way I can from moving injured birds from the road to trapping injured opossums from

under our deck (fortunately that's only happened once!)

taking a nightly walk around the neighborhood with my daughter, Alexandra.

Family Info: I am single, I do not have children, I am the youngest of 3 girls and I was raised in Ohio where most of my

family still resides. I found out about AHG through my sister who has taken my niece to some of the events they have

done in Ohio.

Outside of AHG…: I am currently a contractor, in the oil and gas industry, for EQT Production Company. I use to trav-

el for work around PA, OH and WV, however, almost 2 years ago I moved to Pittsburgh for my current job and work

solely in PA. I enjoy spending time with friends, family and traveling. I am serving in Kidzburgh, sometimes at Light of

Life and with Helping Hands. I am a part of the American Association of Professional Landmen and Women’s Energy

Network.

profit management with a strong background in outdoor education. Our family loves to garden, travel, and attend fairs and festi-

vals. We have many pets!

Other Information: We are delighted to be a part of such a great ministry as AHG! Our troop is unique in both its size and abil-

ity to impact both our girls and our community. AHG has been such a blessing to us. Our hope is that our involvement will be a

blessing not only to our family, but also to others!

Family Info: I have been married to my amazing husband Greg for 11 years. we have two wonderful children together. Jaelynn

our daughter is 7 and in AHG our Son Asa is 5 and is involved in Awana.

Outside of AHG…: Outside of AHG I am a homeschooling momma. My husband works from home and helps out in the Home-

schooling as well. We are a part of the Classical Conversations Community. I am leading up the Essentials Siblings class there which

I am very excited about. My family loves to travel, hike and just be together. I am a professional Photographer and have been pho-

tographing weddings for 15 years. I also work with a nonprofit out of Uganda called Hackers for Charity working to free women

who have been sold into slavery, children who's families have been murdered and raise up men to be upstanding citizens. This

charity is very near to my heart and a strong passion of mine.

Family Info: My wonderful husband, Doug, and I will be celebrating our 21st anniversary this Fall. We have

lived in Pittsburgh for 20 years and have 2 children. They are Luke (16) and Ava (11).

in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make

Outside of AHG…: I get the benefit of helping my husband with his business and working as a nurse at Passavant and a hospice

company part-time. I enjoy cooking, traveling, and being involved (mainly cheering from the sidelines) in my children’s activities.

We all like to ski in the Winter.

Family Info: I have 2 daughters (Ava-11; Kate-9), both part of AHG since they were Pathfinders. I am

married 16 years to a wonderful man, Mike, who is a very dedicated AHG dad and husband! Mike and

I have known each other since middle school!

Outside of AHG…: Professionally, I am a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. For the past 12 years I have worked as a

presenter/trainer for a curriculum company called Handwriting Without Tears. I travel all over the country presenting

about 50 workshops a year. As a family we LOVE summer! We love to garage sale and go camping in our pop up camp-

er. I am an aunt to 3 year old triplets... and get to watch them one day a week!!

Other Information: I feel so blessed that myself and my daughters are able to be part of AHG! Every time we say the

AHG Creed or Oath, I know we are in a place that supports the same values I want for my girls. And, AHG knows, that

only through God is this possible.

Outside of AHG…: I am a homeschool mom to Victoria who attends Blackburn Study Center. I like to garden and love

to have flowers that I can cut and bring into the house. I also like to read, mostly non-fiction books, typically spiritual,

nutrition, exercise, organization and time management. Our whole family loves golf. I am either the cart driver or cad-

dy. You can also find me swimming laps outside at the pool almost every day in the summer.

Mardy Krewatch, Pioneer Girl Leader Mentor Joined AHG: September 2016

AHG Leadership: Substitute Leader & Pioneer Mentor—1st Year

Family Info: I've been married for 41 years to Jim. We have 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren. Megan (40 years

old) lives in Wisconsin with her husband Ryan and 2 sons Maxwell (age 12) and Gabriel (age 11). Megan is a retired Civil

Engineer. She retired to be home with her sons as they got out of Grade School. Meg & Ryan own the local Piggly

Wiggly grocery store and travel extensively. Lauren (36 years old) lives near Cleveland with her husband Eugene and

their 2 girls Katelyn (age 6) and Brooke (almost 4). Laur teaches for Ohio University. Andrew (30 years old) lives in Phil-

adelphia doing Exercise Science. I was a Girl Scout, & camped, canoed, & was an outdoors person for many years. I was

a professional model in Pittsburgh for many years as well. As my children were growing up I was room mother in each

of their classes and volunteered as chaperone on countless school sponsored trips. I have done 7 years of BSF & lots of

other courses since then. For several years I was a licensed counselor/mentor but I've retired & let my license lapse

because my M.S. has just made it too difficult to work. I am a volunteer at Orchard Hill Church in several areas. I'm

thrilled to be helping with AHG & looking forward to a great year.

Outside of AHG…: Right now I am at home . I volunteer at Orchard Hill Church on Sunday mornings at both services

checking in children for Kidzburgh, I'm the head of one of the Care Response teams, and I co-host a table for 2nd Act.

I'm a pseudo quilter and sewer. I enjoy working in my garden at home and wish I had more energy and physical ability

to do all the projects that are in my head.

Other Information…: We've always had pets and right now have 2 dogs and 1 cat.

Family Info: I've been married to my BFF for 22 years. Brian and I have three active kids. Boyce (20)

who is entering his second year at Grove City College, studying Entrepreneurship. Emma (16) who is a

Patriot in AHG and will be a junior at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School focusing on

Photography. She is applying to be a candidate for The Stars & Stripes Award. Last but not least Liam (8) second grade

who enjoys exploring outdoors, snuggles and Minecraft.

Outside of AHG…: My job outside of our home is as a Systems Analyst / Project Manager and Software Designer for

UPMC . Outside of work, we are involved with volunteering at a local nursing home leading worship the 2nd Sunday of

every month. We also volunteer with the Pine Richland Marching Band fundraising and concession stand efforts and I

am one of the Children's Ministry leaders on Wednesday nights .
