January 5, 2013 Fearna continues to live long the south bank of the Senegal River, flying SW over the N2 main road in the evening to roost in semi-desert. She appears to be fishing in a large area of irrigated land.
It is great Fearna made it to Africa. She is a remarkable bird very good navigation…in Scotland it is snowy, icy , fishing is not possible due to the frozen rivers and lochs
