BOTSWANA AGRICULTURE IN FIGURESAgricultural production in Botswana both in the livestock and crop sub-sectors is on a downward trend, according to the 2013 annual agricultural survey results. The declining performance of the sector is largely attributable to the unfavorable climatic conditions and endemic animal diseases, in particular the Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD).
