What’s it all about?• Kelvin’s 8th year participating in this program designed specifically for grade 9 students

•Upon course completion: travel to Washington, D.C. to visit the National Holocaust Memorial Museum. There, they will meet participants from across Canada

So, what’s it going to cost?• Each student is required to complete a log of 16 hours of

volunteer service that are associated with community development: Holiday Breakfast, HASTA, charities, tutoring…

• It is anticipated that the cost – which is already subsidized in part by the Asper Foundation – and which covers air travel, all meals, hotel accomodation and all admission fees to museums, will come to about $1600 per student.

• Participants will have the opportunity to do some fundraising through Kelvin to help cover a portion of the cost… (for example, bedding plant sales, bake sales, Fair Trade coffee & chocolate,etc.).
