To approve order approving the reclassification of eight (8) Lance Sergeant, grade67 positions within the Sheriff's Office, Patrol and Freeway ManagementDivisions, at an annual cost of $34,000, and authorizing the Human Resources/Civil Service Department to review and determine the final classification of eachposition.

To approve order approving the Structure/Merit/Lump Sum Award Guidelines andSalary Schedules for Fiscal Year 2007.

To approve order approving the Cooperative Use Agreement with the DallasFederal Employee Child Care Corporation and the General Services Administrationfor the period from October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2010, with anincrease in the eligibilityguidelines for employee participation, and authorizing theCounty Judge to sign said agreement on behalf of Dallas County.

To approve order appointing listed election judges and alternate election judgesto fill vacancies for the 2006-2007 term.

To approve order approving the renewal Interlocal Agreement between DallasCounty and The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas forthe disposition of indigent and unclaimed adult decedents, and authorizing the

To approve order accepting the grant awards from the National Institute ofJustice (NIJ) for the FY 2006 Paul Coverdell Forensic Science ImprovementGrants Program, NIJ's FY 2006 Forensic DNA Capacity Improvement Programand Forensic Casework DNA Backlog Reduction Program developed by theInstitute of Forensic Sciences, and authorizing the County Judge to executenecessary grant documents/electronic forms on behalf of Dallas County.

To approve order approving the contract with the Social Security Administrationfor the Cooperative Disability Investigation program targeting Social SecurityDisability fraud, and authorizing the County Judge to sign all related documents.

To approve order approving additional funding in the amount of $1 57,444 neededfor the completion of the Telecommunications Convergence Project.

To approve order approving reduced-cost parking at the juror rate of $3.00 perday at the George L. To approve order approving the Dallas County Health and Human ServicesRequest for Proposals (RFP) for HIV Health and Social Services to be funded bythe FY 2007 Ryan White Title I, Title I-MAl, and Title II grants.

To approve order modifying current contracts (Bid No. 2003-133-1384 - AnnualContract for Residential Mechanical Services) with Stratford's Air Conditioningand Heating (primary contractor) and Andrews Air Conditioning, Heating andRefrigeration (secondary contractor) to include a 6.75 % price increase for therequested new items at a cost of $54,000 and extending said contracts for anadditional twelve (12) month period, effective from October 1, 2006 throughSeptember 30, 2007.

55. COURT ORDER:

To approve order extending current contract (Bid No. 2004-112-1537 - ProvideLunches for the Dallas County Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program)with The Paper Plate, Inc. for an additional thirteen (13) day period, effectivefrom August 1, 2006 through August 13, 2006.

To approve order modifying current contract (Bid No. 2004-126-1552 - AnnualContract for Armored Car Pick-up Services) with Loomis Fargo & Company toinclude a second daily pickup during the peak season at a cost of $1,090.00.

60. COURT ORDER:

To approve order authorizing the waiver of commercial automobile liabilityinsurance under Bid No. 2006-067-1870 (Annual Contract for the Purchase andInstallation of Voice and Data Cabling) for the period from June 27, 2006 throughAugust 28, 2006 for SamStarr Communications, the withholding of $1,891.75from future payments to SamStarr for not meeting the contract's SLA for August2006, and the review of contract performance again after sixty (60) days.

To approve order authorizing the award of Item 3 (Thermal Blankets) and Item 4(Wool Blankets) under Bid No. 2006-079-1942 (Annual Contract for the Purchaseof Linen and Textiles) to Tabb Textile Co., Inc. for the period from September 26,2006 through September 25, 2007.
