RPA aims to extract out the “robot” from within the FTE and allow them the bandwidth to concentrate on more strategic jobs
RPA helps ease redundant and mundane activities by speeding up execution of rule driven tasks. – altering BPO and outsourcing
RPA is non invasive. It does not interfere/impact the underlying technology layer.
The disruption observed is in the mode of achieving tasks –“Something recurrent that you would deploy a FTE to do, can be done even faster through a software program”

Baseline : Using RPA for streamlining reporting
Problem Statement : Data from 13 different IT systems are being collated, standardized and rule sets are being applied for generation of reports. Concerns seen are with respect to the accuracy of results, time of delivery and clumsiness of the process. Impact on strategic reporting, planning and decisions
Diagnosis: JKT sent their consultants to figure out the problems in the way the reporting was being done. It was found that the bottleneck lies in the communication nodes and the fact that manual handling of data resulted into transformation, data losses and delays. Moreover the team working on this task felt a lack of job satisfaction adding to the irregularities in the process.
Solution: As an out of the box solution, Robotic Process Automation was introduced as an alternate method of operation of the reporting task. This project was incubated by JKT and the client and as a result 400+ reports have been successfully churned out
The improvements which this brought :-• Reduced dependency – 78% unattended automation and

Baseline : Using RPA for streamlining Accounting Processes
Problem Statement : Accounting Processes which are critical within any organization were being handled manually leading to loss of time, data and money.
Diagnosis: The client wanted to have a operation framework, less dependent on man-power since the data handled were sensitive and high value. The JKT consultants found a way of creating unattended automations to do the PR, PO, Invoice matching etc. tasks.
Solution: As an out of the box solution, Robotic Process Automation was introduced as an alternate method of operation of accounting processes. This project was incubated by JKT and the client and as a result tasks like Procure to Pay, Invoice Verification, Issuance of Payment etc.
The improvements which this brought :-• Reduced dependency – 100% unattended automation• End – End Accurate processing• Optimization of resource and reduced cost pressure• Improved Reporting and Dashboard
