The scope of this study is to help improve the implementation of the AP Computer Science Principles courses. The U Teach Institute will provide the following: AP Computer Science Principles student curriculum and teacher materials free of charge for the 2020-21 and 2021-22 school years Online teacher professional development Teacher stipends of $1000 Project liaison to answer questions, address concerns, and provide support The Cotati-Rohnert Park School District will agree to the following: Offer 1 AP Computer Science Principles course during the 2020-21 school year Commit to utilizing the U Teach Computer Science Principles curriculum Identify a teacher to participate in 40 hours of online professional development during summer 2020 Encourage participating teacher to participate in all data collection activities Provide both teacher and student data in accordance with the U.S. Department of Education regulations and the Institutional Review Board requirements of the University of Texas at Austin to maintain the confidentiality of the data obtained ATTACHMENTS: Memorandum of Understanding

That the Board Approve the Memorandum of Understanding for Participation in the U Teach Computer Science Principles Study
