ADMINISTRATIVE REPORT  

DATE:  October 1, 2013  TO:  Trustees  ORIGIN:  Larry Hope, Director of Education  SUBJECT:  BD‐2055 Advocacy Policy  REFERENCE:  Committee of the Whole Meeting – October 8, 2013  PURPOSE:  To present to trustees the revised BD‐2055 Advocacy Policy.   CONTEXT:  The BD‐2055 Advocacy Policy is up for review as part of the TLDSB 5‐year 

policy review cycle.   CONTENT:  Chairs Council provided suggested changes to the BD‐2055 Advocacy Policy to 

trustees for their review.    The only suggested revisions are a consistent format of the board name 

“Trillium Lakelands District School Board” and a couple of minor word changes. 

   ACTION:   It is recommended that changes to the updated BD‐2055 Advocacy Policy be 

approved.
