Background
• In 1997 the South L.T. Murray Wildlife Area name was changed to Wenas Wildlife Area.
• This name change occurred due to different funding sources:
– L.T. Murray Wildlife Area is funded by wildlife state money.
– South L.T. Murry Wildlife Area (Wenas) is funded by BPA money.
