    A fifteen-minute morning and afternoon break will be taken at suitably convenient times. Additional breaks may betaken as long as the contact time between instructors and students in the class equals 9.5 hours (for example,instructors may conduct a working lunch at the request of students). The start time for day 2 is scheduled for 8:00 AM.However, this can be adjusted based on agreement between all the students.

    Arrangements for lunch and food for breaks will be arranged by the Meeting Planner or Training Coordinator at BSI.However, it is the responsibility of the instructor to ensure the meal and break arrangements are communicated to thestudents at the beginning of the course.

    Note: the timeline for the course is intended to meet clause 5.1 of RABQSA document Training CourseCertification Criteria, RABQSA T3.OHSMS Auditor Training, which states that the total course time devoted todirect instruction and to assigned team and individual activities shall be at least 36 hours plus an additionaltwo hours for examination, and ISO 19011:2002 Table 1, which lists 40 hours of training as appropriate forauditors conducting certification or similar audits.
