Welcome to the Adkin Agency Review for 2015 which focuses on the sales and acquisitions of

farms, estates, residential property, development sites and amenity land which we have

transacted.

Covering Oxfordshire, Berkshire and surrounding counties we have a dedicated team focusing on the individual

requirements of our clients. This includes helping to maximise the value of their property assets through our local

knowledge and extensive experience of the property market in our area.

The latest RICS Rural Land Market Survey identifies the South East as having the largest price growth in the

country over the last year for farmland. Nationally many areas reported that an increase in supply had tempered

expectations. As a contrast 2015 has seen localised demand for land match the increased supply in our

geographical area leaving many buyers still looking to acquire. The graphs below show some of the survey

results including National Supply of Farmland and also Regional Bare Land Prices taken from the RICS survey.

An increasing variety of local,

regional and national purchasers

are still providing demand for

property and we feel this is likely to

continue into 2016.

From whole estate sales to farms,

houses and amenity land,

development sites and building

plots, we deal with a very diverse

range of properties.

Whether it is disposal or acquisition

we provide concise, objective

advice and are well accustomed to

transactions on the market or

privately.

The following provides more detail

on some of our transactions this

year.

date market appraisal please

Another Story Headline Your headline is an important part of the newsletter and should be considered

carefully.

In a few words, it should accurately represent the contents of the story and draw

readers into the story. Develop the headline before you write the story. This way,

the headline will help you keep the story focused. Examples of possible headlines

include Selling Your Home and New Office Opens Near You.

If you have to break a headline into two rows, try to find a natural break in the con-

tent. Each line should stand alone so that your readers can easily understand

what is in the story even while skimming.

Newspaper editors consider headline writing like poetry. How can you get the

reader’s attention and draw them into the story in only a few words?

Meanwhile, you don’t want to give too much away, or the reader doesn’t even

have to read the story to understand the content.
