  • Sunday School Grade 8A.G.A.P.E. Curriculum

    • The AGAPE curriculum is for exceptionalstudent education [ESE] for Sunday School. Itis designed by the Coptic Orthodox Diocese ofthe Southern United States.

    • This is a modified curriculum designed forindividuals with special needs.

    • This curriculum is intended to be taughtalongside with the general Sunday Schoolprogram for each grade.

    • Inclusion is an important aspect of the social andlearning paradigm of individuals with specialneeds.

    • Stewards serving children and youth with specialneeds should try to integrate the students in themainstream classes for as much time as can betolerated by the student with special needs.

    • Integration and inclusion foster friendships amongthe same age peer group.

    – Bribe is one of the images of corruption.– The Lord warned about taking bribery in the ten

    Commandments. “And you shall take no bribe, for a bribe blinds the discerning and perverts the words of the righteous” (Exodus 23:8).

    – Eli’s sons whom the Lord refused were corrupted.– St. Peter told Simon the magician the gift of the Holy Spirit

    can’t be brought. He wanted to buy it.– It is against the Christian principles. It corrupts the spiritual

    being of both those who take and give the bribe.– Do not encourage those who ask for a bribe.
