The partnership between WATA, Itineraries Midwest Magazine and the Dept. of Tourism was a huge success with the creation of “Field Trips” in the Itineraries Midwest Spring 2015 issue. Over 14,000 motorcoach tour operators received copies of the issue. It is also available to view online.
The positive feedback has been wonderful and we thank our members who advertised in the issue.
Due to all of the responses, quality of the publication, and the increased interest of advertisers, WATA will move forward with a standalone “Ag-ventures Field Trips” publication in 2016. The publication will continue to cater to motorcoach tour operators in addition to leisure travelers and educational school groups who are looking for suggested itineraries and destinations. We feel we have tapped into a marketing strategy that continues to expand our ag-tourism industry.
