What is LIDAR?Definition: Lidar (also called LIDAR, LiDAR, and LADAR) is a surveying method that measures distance to atarget by illuminating the target with pulsed laser light and measuring the reflected pulses with a sensor.

Why does LIDAR matter to us? Whole new category of Replacement Parts looming on the imminent horizon, our industry will need:

More capital, inventory, warehouse & shelf space - and hopefully more sales.

It will be expensive to employ first to market strategy, yet vital, and there will be a "wait" forROI. Perhaps less so if your company is in the collision business - still some time away.

More product awareness & knowledge necessitating training. I suggest that seriouscompetitors in business for the long haul practice "single point of entry training"simultaneously training their own company culture and their end users alike if your companyplans to participate in the evolving technological age of transportation via preparation...
