    "The global economic signals are not very positive for commodities despite strong macro data. The pricing scenario remains uncertain so that is putting us off as

    far as the buying aggressively into the commodity space is concerned," said Deven Choksey, MD, KR Choksey Securities, in an interview with ET Now.

    But yes, any fall in the commodity space would demand re-look and probably buy into the portfolio, he added. Chokse is of the view that one of the safer bets

    could be Hindalco - and any fall into the stock price could possibly demand an accumulation.

    Hindalco is still awaiting forest stage II approval for the Mahan coal block. Even if this comes through soon, the benefits of captive coal will start to flow in earliestby FY16, with the full benefits coming in only by FY18, say analysts.

    The Aditya smelter coal mine is also awaiting environment approvals.
