Vehicle registration office will be closed on 15, 16 & 17 FEB 2012 tocomplete renovation that will result in better service to the community.They're adding: four new work station with new computers and fiber opticcabling, FACTS automated number system that gives estimated wait times,service menu board with handouts depicting required items and a few morethings to make visits a little more pleasurable. The information will bepublished in the Citizen, on Facebook, posted in the office, and covered atnext week's Tenant Meeting.

The Stuttgart Field Office will conduct ANNUAL THREAT AWARENESS ANDREPORTING PROGRAM briefings (TARP), formerly known as SAEDA, from 27February - 01 March 2012 at the Kelley Theater. Briefings will be held inthe mornings (0900 & 1100) and afternoons (1300 & 1500); with Germanspeaking sessions held at 1500 on 27 and 29 February 2012 respectively.

    Please see attached scheduled for additional details.

    AFRICOM personnel on leave or TDY during this period should arrange toattend one of the briefings held at either the Patch Theater (13-17 February2012) or Panzer Chapel (21, 22, & 24 February 2012).

    In accordance with DoD Instruction 5240.6 and National Security DecisionDirective 197, all military, civilian, and contract personnel, regardless ofbranch of service, are required to receive a TARP briefing at least once a

    Based on a recent legal review of the FMWR Stuttgart Airport Shuttleprogram, they are no longer able to offer pick-up services at any airport,on post or off-post residence.

    However, they are able to continue offering shuttle services to the

    Stuttgart Airport from the Kelley hotel, Swabian Suites and Panzer hotelONLY. This service is for registered hotel guests only. These reservationscan be made with the front desk staff of the hotels. Reservations received

    prior to this release will be honored.

    Remember when calling these companies to always ask for a driver with anAmerican Installation Pass and if you need to go to the airport - make sureyou let them know how much luggage, if you have children or pets - this will

    help them to determine the size of a vehicle to bring. Also, if you aretraveling with small children, you will be responsible to bring your ownchild carrier seat. Not all taxi drivers have children safety seats. Pleasepay the drivers in Euro's - not dollars or credit cards.
