AFP Minnesota Elects New Board of Directors
Minneapolis, Minn. [December 4, 2012] -- The Association of Fundraising Professionals - Minnesota Chapter
(AFP Minnesota) has elected new officers and board members to take office Jan. 1, 2013. The board
implements the organizations vision to create and foster extraordinary fundraising professionals for an
extraordinary philanthropic community, with particular attention to high standards and ethics.

CFRE stands for Certified Fund Raising Executive. It is an internationally valued credential that offers fundraisingprofessionals an opportunity to earn recognition for their knowledge, skills, and achievements.
The Association of Fundraising Professionals is an international professional membership association. The
mission of AFP is to foster the development and growth of fundraising professionals and promote high ethical
standards in the fundraising profession. AFP represents more than 30,000 members in 231 chapters throughout
the world, working to advance philanthropy through advocacy, research, education and certification programs.
The AFP Minnesota Chapter has more than 300 members representing hundreds of nonprofit organizations. Our
members are development professionals mostly concentrated in the Twin Cities area. They are responsible for
fundraising efforts at some of the largest nonprofits in the area. The AFP Minnesota Chapter is one of the largest
chapters in the nation.
