OBAMA CARE

1. Increased coverage – About 32 million Americans who would not have been covered by health insurance will be covered by 2014.

2. Americans who don’t pay for insurance will be taxed 1% of their income in 2014. In 2015 that will jump to 2% and in 2016 will increase to 2.5%.

3. Individuals who make over $200,000 and couples who make over $250, 000 a year will pay higher taxes to help cover costs of the program.

4. There will be an estimated shortage of health care professionals due to the fact of the aging population which will prevent people from receiving medical care.

5. Estimated that visits to the doctor will increase from 462 million to 565 million by 2025, further straining the system.

6. The Congressional Budget Office estimates that the implementation of this act will cost the American people $1.2 TRILLION over the next 10 years.
