Individual Feats Shruti Bhadoriya of XII-D participated in the CBSE West Zone skating championship held at
Bhopal . She won two gold medals in 500 metres and 1000 metres Rink Race and also won an
individual championship (under 19). She has been selected for the Nationals. She also
participated in Roll Ball Competition held at Neemuch where she won a gold medal and has been
selected for the Nationals.
Kamlakshi Dixit of X-D and Khushi Tiwari of IX-B participated in ‘Inquisitive Minds‘ organized by
‘Career Launcher’ . They secured 1st and 3rd positions in the city round held at Prestige College,
Gwalior . They also represented the state at the regional level held in New Delhi.
A two day Art Exhibition- Rupankar Art Exhibition was organized at Tansen Kala Vithika Padav where Priyanshi Singhal of XI-C exhibited her painting on the theme ‘Triveni’ which was applauded by various art lovers present there .
Swarna Gupta of Std VIII E won the second position in Painting Competition organized by
Association of Gwalior Youth Society. She was awarded with a trophy and certificate.

MEDLEY OF ACTIVITIES
On account of Gandhi Jayanti, the school’s USM group organized a rally to uphold the ideals of
Gandhiji. The Mayor, Shri Vivek Sejwalkar flagged off the rally which started from Phoolbagh and
ended at Carmel. Students staged a Nukkad Natak to spread the message of cleanliness and to
save the environment.
As part of ‘Ek Bharat ,Shreshth Bharat’ programme, an essay writing competition was conducted
on 31st October in which the following students were awarded for best essays

An inter house Story Relay Competition was held on 20th October for Std VI to VIII. The first
position was taken by Yellow House , second Blue House and third Red House respectively.
Widening the Exposure
A Career Guidance Program was organized for the students of IX and X by Akash Institute. The
resource person handed some valuable information regarding the wide career opportunities
available for the students.
‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ week was celebrated as directed by the CBSE. During the week a
special assembly was conducted where the students delivered a speech to make the students and
staff aware of the problems faced by girls and women. It focused on problems like decreasing
ratio of girls and increasing crime against them. The program concluded with a song highlighting
the survival, protection and education of the girl child.
On 31st October Saviours Exam was conducted for classes 1 to 12 in which students participated in
a large number.

COMPETITIONS BEYOND PRECINCTS
Shruti Jain of X-B participated in the Sahodaya Inter School English Handwriting Competition
held at IATS Public school. She won the 3rd prize.
Sahodaya Inter School Quiz Competition was conducted on 28th October 2017, hosted by Happy
Days School, Shivpuri. Pragya Vijayawargia of VIII-E an d Niharika Jaiswani of VII-A were the
runners up for the same .
Kushal Vidya Peeth hosted Sahodaya Inter School Ganesh Vandana Competition for the students
of Std III and IV, in which Carmel won the first position.
The Gwalior Glory High School hosted Sahodaya Inter School Group Singing Competition for Std V
and VI in which we secured second position.

Living up to the true spirit of Diwali….
The school’s USM group celebrated Diwali with the less fortunate in the school premises. They
spent a happy time, played games and gave gift hampers. It was followed by dinner.
