The Krisht Transsphenoidal set was developed in co-operation with Dr. Ali Krisht, Professor, Director of the Cerebrovascular Departmentof Neurosurgery, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. This collection of instruments was specifically designed to satisfy themarket need for a comprehensive transsphenoidal instrument set for the surgical management of skull base tumors. The set wasdeveloped with 79 instruments to cover the various aspects of the procedure including the nasal exposure, sphenoid exposure, sellarexposure, and tumor resection.

Instrument Overview:

Speculums – slim profile Killian and Papavero-Caspar designs for improved visualization.

Suctions – Both dissector and atraumatic styles.

Bipolar Forceps – Landolt axial style with scissor grip for enhanced access.

Dissectors – Various styles of enucleators and dissectors.

Kerrisons – 7” thin footplate design for greater flexibility and access to smaller anatomy. Available in 1mm, 2mm, and 3mm bite sizes.Each size available in 40° Up, 40° Down, 90° Up, and 90° Down.

Rongeurs – Multiple styles of straight, down bite, and up bite configurations. Each configuration is available in various cup sizes.

Rotatable Ring Curettes – rotating feature enables optimization of tip orientation and minimizes the total number of instrumentsneeded. Available in various ring diameters, both sharp and blunt styles, and both 45° and 90° configurations.
