The fun continues as we rap up another great week here at camp. This week we got tied up making some crazy ties. On Wednesday we brought our favorite video
games to life. We also played our own real life version of Mario in our out-door obstacle course. Friday we had a blast bowling alongside our fellow campers at Sparez bowling lane. We’re looking forward to another exciting week.
Day Camp Staff
Young Adult definitely did-n’t strike out this week. More campers joined our group, old friendships were rekindled, and new friends were made. With the hot sunny weather upon us, we were happy to be able to cool off and refresh ourselves in the pool. Speaking of strikes many were to be had at Spares. Our campers showed off their ability to knock down many pins. Austin had the high score of the day of 154. Some of our YA campers had a blast helping with science experiments and setting up an obstacle course for the day campers. We agreed it was a good week!
Young Adult Staff
We started out week two with some new students and some really enjoyable learning fun. We worked on fractions in math and some great journal writing about the experiences
of the week. We had wonderful social interac-tion with upper and lower students. We had a great time with playdough and blocks learning about numbers and colors. We also had an ex-citing time during oral reading. All the students
love listening to stories and fig-uring out what happens next.
Summer School Staff
During the second week of aftercare we had a great time. We played Nintendo Wii games and the students took turns with each other. Ms.
Jaime and the students made different objects using clay. We also had a great time playing soccer in the field. The day campers learned how to play Con-nect Four and had an awesome time challenging each other.
