Opinion

Financial statements should detail assets, liabilities, equity, income and

expenses.

It is in a list with other nouns. Income means money we earn, expenses

are things we must pay. The word financial means to do with money. A

financial statement is a document writing about a company’s money.

Therefore equity may be something a company owns that is worth

money?
