Applications are invited for the following posts tenable at Mumbai :

1.

SCIENTIFIC OFFICER (B) : Two Posts [1 - Unreserved & 1- Reserved for OtherBackward Class] ; Pay Band : (PB-2) Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay : Rs.4800/- ; TME :Rs.32,108/- ; HQ : Mumbai.

Qual. : M.Sc./M.C.A. (Computer Science) with 60% marks.

Desirable Qual. : BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology.

Desirable Exp. : 1 2 years.

Job Requirement : i) Development and support of applications like accounts and financeusing Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Forms and Reports 10g. (ii) Web Application Developmentusing JAVA/JSP/Servlets technologies. (iii) Knowledge of general accounting principleswould be advantageous.

Age : Below 28 years for unreserved candidates and Below 31 years for other backwardclass candidates.

SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT (B) : One Post [Unreserved] ; Pay Band : (PB-2) Rs.9300-34800+ Grade Pay : Rs.4200/- ; TME : Rs.24,435/- ; HQ : Mumbai.

Qualification : S.S.C. OR Equivalent & Diploma in Electronics Engineering with 60%

marks (minimum 3 years course). OR

H.S.C. OR Equivalent & Diploma in Electronics Engineering with 60% marks (minimum 2years course).

Experience : i) Working knowledge of personal computer and their applications. (ii)Minimum 2 years experience in Analog and Digital Electronics circuit test/design. (iii)Wiring experience of Electronics circuits.

Desirable : i) Knowledge and hands on experience of PC based software for PCB layout(e.g. ORCAD, CADSTAR, PROTEL etc.) (ii) Knowledge of C, C++, Matlab, IDL.

Job Description : i) Electronics circuit test/design. (ii) Documentations, indentgeneration, purchase activity etc. (iii) Travelling in India/abroad for office related activity(with prolong stay).

Age : Below 28 years.

TME : Total Monthly Emoluments.

Higher starting salary could be considered for deserving candidates. Candidates are liable tobe transferred to other Centres/Field Stations of the Institute, if required.

General Information : Appointment for the above posts will be initially for a period of threeyears., including probation period of one year.Prescribed age should not exceed as onJuly 1, 2010.
