Having typing speed of 40 w.p.m. / 35 w.p.m. in English and Hindi respectively on computer. General Instructions:- 1) Candidates should read carefully the requisite minimum essential qualifications, knowledge, experience laid down in the advertisement before applying for the relevant post. 2) Good knowledge of Computer applications (on word pro cessor, spreadsheet, presentations software etc. and OS like MS-Windows, LINUX etc.) will be a distinct plus. 3) In addition to the pay scale as above, the posts ca rry the usual allowances at par with those admissible under Central Government in the corresponding scale. 4) The Institute reserves right to se lect any candidate on contract basis, if the selection committee recommends so. 5) There is no age limit for Group 'A' Sl . No. 01 post and will be decided at the time of shortlisting. However, maximum prescribed age is 32 years for the posts at Sl. No. 02 & 03 and 27 years for the posts at Sl. No. 04 to 06. Age is further relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates in accordance with Government of India's rules. Further, the age relaxation upto maximum of five years can be given to the candidates who appear to have special qualification or highly relevant experience for the concerned position. 6) For employees of IIT's who are educationally qualified can be considered for direct recruitment across the whole IIT system up to a maximum of 50 years of age. 7) DD/IPO of `  100/- (Rupees one hundred only) for Group 'A' posts at Sl. No. 01 and DD/IPO of `  50/- (Rupees fifty only) for Group 'B' and 'C' posts at Sl. No. 02 to 06 should be enclosed (drawn in favour of Registrar, IIT Delhi payable at New Delhi). No DD/IPO is required for SC/ST posts. 8) Separate application form should be submitted for each post. Persons serving in Govt. Deptts., Autonomous organizations, Corporations, Boards etc. should apply through proper channel. 9) The reservation and the percentage thereof, for Phy sically Handicapped / Ex-servicemen will be as per current Central Govt. Orders. The candidates applying against reserved posts are required to attach the attested copies of relevant certificate issued from the concerned Competent Authority in the Performa as prescribed by the Govt. of India. The Institute follows the central list in the case of OBCs. 10) The relaxation & concessions to the candidates applying for the reserved category posts exist as per Govt. of India Rules. 11) Mere fulfillment of qualifications and experience requirements does not entitle any candidate to be called for test / or Interview. 12) No correspondence whatsoever will be entertained from candidates regarding conduct and result of interview and reasons for not being called for interview. 13) In case of any dispute / ambiguity / confusion that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the Institute shall be final. 14) The Institute may conduct Written and / or Practical Tests / or Presentation for these posts and only those candidates who qualify the said tests etc. will be called for interview. 15) Outstation candidates called for tests / interview for the posts will be paid 2nd Class Railway Fare from the place of duty/residence to Delhi and back by the shortest route through Demand Draft or the amount admissible may be transferred to the Bank Account of the concerned candidate and will not be paid on the spot. 16) The age of superannuation for all the posts is 60 years. 17) The application form without the attested copies of all relevant certificates (both experience and Education) will be rejected. 18) The candidates fulfilling the above eligibility criteria may submit their application on the prescribed Application Form along with testimonials; prescribed fee; and latest passport size photograph to Recruitment Cell, Room No. MZ-113, IIT Delhi, Hauz Khas, New Delhi – 110016.
