Chris works with organisations on system change
and breakthrough innovation. His work has involved
a number of design-led initiatives with the Ellen
MacArthur Foundation, including the development
of The Circular Design Guide. Launched at The
World Economic Forum in 2017, the guide aims to
develop a generation of creatively confident, systems
orientated circular designers and more resilient
organisations capable of thriving in the circular
economy.

Christina SeidelRecycling Council Alberta
Christina is a life-cycle assessment, waste reduction
and recycling expert, with extensive operational
design experience. She is interested in integrating
this knowledge into circular economy and zero
waste models. She holds a PhD in Engineering
Management, a Masters degree in Environmental
Design (Environmental Science), as well as a B.Sc.
in Mechanical Engineering. She operates sonnevera
international corp., a waste reduction consulting
firm, and is the current Executive Director of the
Recycling Council of Alberta.
Gonzalo Muñoz Triciclos
Gonzalo Muñoz has worked with several consumer
good companies in his past life for almost 10 years.
He now runs a recycling B-corp in 5 countries in
South America, seeking to solve the issues with the
non recyclable plastics packaging he previously put
on the market.

Joe manages the CE100 business network and EMF’s

has been connecting packaging design & packaging
waste and policy & practice. Karen has extensive
practical knowhow of the entire packaging chain

She started her career as a technical packaging
designer for several brands at a design agency.

Lara has nearly twenty years of consumer packaged
goods marketing, sales, and general management
experience with an emphasis on bringing healthy
product innovations to the natural and mass
market. For the past five years, she has provided
strategic sales, marketing and leadership consulting

Organic Tea, Alter Eco Foods, Jamba Juice, House
Foods America and Japan, Mighty Leaf Tea, Gardein
Protein, and Balance Bar, Nestle’s Purina, Estancia
Beef, and Boppy.

plastics package development and now works
with the Sustainable Packaging Coalition and
GreenBlue to promote the principles of sustainable
materials management that seek to help industry:

circular economy to provide growth without waste
and that innovation and sustainability are linked
as key drivers for our future. Nina has worked to
develop a value proposition for sustainability and to

Sandra brings a wealth of experience developing
projects across media and at the intersection of
education, science and health. An academic, author,
producer, media executive and educator, she is
applying her creative, entrepreneurial and business
skills to expand the partnerships, programs, and
projects of PPC. She earned her PhD at UC Berkeley
in Education.
Savannah Whitney Coursera
Savannah currently works for Coursera, an
education technology startup in the San Francisco
Bay Area, where she specializes is product and
design research. Her expertise lies in conducting
research to inform product strategy, uncover user
needs, validate design concepts, and evaluate
user experiences. She’s particularly interested
in creating novel participatory design stimuli to
unlock perspectives people might not consciously
have access to.
