ADVISOR (RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT) (R&D)

Scope of Work :

The scope of work includes:-i) Critical technical/scientific input on R&D research programmes during

formulation and execution stages to enhance value addition.

ii) To give advice and guidance to NMDC technical team at R&D Centre, andlectures/courses on specific topics in recent trends.iii)To mentor for quality of work and guidance such that it results in patents and /

or publication of papers in reputed international journals.iv) Review the projects and reset future research goals including collaborative

research with national/international Research Development Institutes towardsachieving corporate mission.

Qualification & Experience:

A Graduate in Mineral Processing/Metallurgical Engineering/MiningEngineering/Mineral Engineering with experience in the areas of Mining/Mineralbeneficiation, agglomeration and metallurgy. He should have rich experience at senior

position in the above areas with total executive experience for more than 25 years. Outof the total years of experience, he should have spent at least 5 years as Head of anyunit or organisation having R & D/Laboratory set up under his control as Head/ornext to the head of unit. Persons having experience in planning, execution of coalbeneficiation and steel plant will have an added advantage.

Age Criteria :

Below 65 years

Duration will be initially for a period of one year which is extendable on mutualconsent.

Salary and Perks:

Salary and Perks are negotiable and will not be a constraint for the right candidate.
