Definition• An adverb is a part of speech that

describes or modifies a verb, an adjective, another adverb, clause, or sentence.

• Adverbs answer the questions "How?", "When?", "Where?", "Why?", "In what way?", "How much?", "How often?", "Under what condition", "To what degree?"
