Topcon’s Next Generation of Advanced Screed Control TopconcontinuestheirlongtraditionofinnovationwiththenewP-32AsphaltPaverSystem.FordecadesTopcon’sSystemFiveforPavinghasbeentheindustry’spremiernon-contactingscreedcontrolsystem.Featuringdurableandtime-testedcomponents(SonicTrackers,CrossSlopeSensors,ControlBoxesandtheTrackerjackLaserReceiver)TopconhasintroducedthesuccessorofSystemFivewiththeintroductionofthenewP-32system.GC-35 Control Box Thisnew2DasphaltpaversystemfeaturescontrolboxesthatareruggedandwaterproofwithanIP67environmentalrating.Thereisnoneedtoworryaboutgettingcaughtinarainstorm,oversprayfromawatertruckorputtingwetcontrolboxesintoacarryingcase.Thenewcontrolboxeshaveasuperiordesign,afasterprocessorandbetteron-screenoptions.Designedwithsidemountedcableconnectors(versusbottommounted),helpskeepcablesawayfrommovingpartsonthepaver.Theincreasedprocessorspeedandimprovedon-screenoptionsmakesthesystemrunfasterandeasiertouse.Sonic Averaging System Topcon’sSonicAveragingSystemhasbeenthepavingindustry’sfirstchoiceasanon-contactingreplacementtotheconventionalmechanicalski.TheSonicAveragingSystemiscomprisedofanaluminumbeamwithfourSonicTrackerswhichcontinuouslymeasuretheelevationoverthesurface,automaticallyaveragingandadjustingthetowpointcylinder.TheSonicAveragingSystemisconvenient,maneuverableandproducesagreatfinishedsurface.
