FACT—Apprenticeships are the proven way to train professional workforces.

Apprenticeships refer to on-the-job training leading to nationally recognised

qualifications, developed by industry.

FACT—Apprenticeships can make your organisation more effective, productive

and competitive by addressing your skills gaps directly, especially in uncertain

economic times.

FACT—Apprenticeships deliver skills designed around your business needs.

They also help you develop the specialist skills you need to keep pace with the

latest technology and working practices in your sector.

Recruitment Specific Qualifications

Apprentices will complete the NEW Recruitment Apprenticeship at level 3:

The Framework has been redeveloped by The Council for Administration (CFA) with input from Expedient Training Consultancy , The institute of Recruiters and other stakeholders such as the REC The new frameworks came into

effect in February 2013

Expedient Training Consultancies Recruitment Apprenticeship Package is a 12—15 month programme. Expedient's

team of assessors have Occupational Competency and will guide learners/employees through the learning and as-sessment process.

Expedient’s Recruitment Apprenticeship has been designed to be non-intrusive to the working environment.

Our Assessors will visit the learner/employee monthly in the workplace. In addition some training will be delivered

off site, however to minimise the impact on business this training is delivered via various methods and is split into bite sized learning.

The Real business benefits to taking on apprentices

An Apprenticeship is an effective way of tackling skill shortages.

Apprentices will be trained to do a job to agreed standards, which have been set by the Council for

Administration - the Sector Skills Council. So they will gain a qualification that shows that they have the skills necessary to do the job, unlike those who follow a formal academic route.

About the Recruitment Apprenticeship

(Employers)

www.recruitment-apprenticeship.co.uk 0333 3442 660

The training that the learner will receive is state-of-the-art and newly developed specifically for the

recruitment industry and as technology and standards move on, you can be assured that latest

developments have been incorporated within the programme of study.

Because they will learn by a combination of study and learning on the job, many apprentices find that it is a

much better way of learning, by doing things rather than having to remember facts.

Learners/Employees gain recognised qualifications - QCF Certificate (NVQ), a technical certificate, functional

skills in Maths, English reading, English writing and Information Technology.

The recruitment apprenticeship results in the above 3 types of qualifications

Apprentices are usually more motivated, because they can see that you are investing in their training and

because you take an active part in their development.

They can go on to gain a higher qualification, such as a Level 4 apprenticeship, HNC, HND, Foundation

Degree or even a Degree in Recruitment by studying on a part-time basis while continuing to work for you.

In this way they will be gaining higher-level skills to improve the productivity of your business, but without

making too much of an impact in terms of lost time. The increased investment in them will benefit, not just your business, but will also help to cement the relationship that you have with them, leading to greater

motivation and company loyalty.

If you are interested in the Recruitment Apprenticeship programme or have any questions then fill out our form on

our "Learn More" page and one of our Business Development Managers will contact you very soon.

Functional Skills

What are Functional Skills?

Functional Skills are practical skills in English, mathematics and ICT that enable learners to deal with practical problems

and challenges. They allow individuals to work confidently, effectively and independently in everyday life.

For example, they help us recognise good-value deals when making purchases, write an effective application letter, or

use the Internet.

Functional skills are a key to success. They open doors to learning, to life and to work. These skills are valued by

employers and further education and are a platform on which to build other employability skills. Better Functional Skills
