  • QUICK TIPS

Do a physical layout of your warehouse on paper first. Prepare a listing of all commodity Ids that are currently used in your warehouse.Attempt to find commodities with the same Inventory U/M as Purchase U/M.

  • QUICK TIPSPay special attention to the Conversion Factor field on Inventory Master Table Maintenance (4600 screen). If a mistake is made when setting up your warehouse screens, mark the mistake for deletion using the F3-DELETE key. Adpics Standard Reports are a useful tool to assist you in checking your warehouse set up.

  • QUICK TIPSChoose a commodity name on the 4600 screen that is familiar to most users, using the field:SEL ALT COMM ID NAME: (D,1,2,3,4)When creating adjustments, use the comment field for audit purposes. If an error is made after an adjustment is posted, you will have to create another adjustment to correct the initial adjustment.

  • QUICK TIPS

A physical count should be done prior to loading inventory on the Inventory Adjustment (4100) screen.Part numbers are optional, but can be used to further define a commodity id. At year end close, run Adpics Standard Report 410 as close to the end of June as possible.
