• Key Performance Indicator (KPI) is a quantifiable measurement for gauging success. A KPI is frequently evaluated over time. For example, the ACO may use utilization variance as a KPI, but a care coordinator may use compliance with Uncontrolled Diabetes. Each is an example of a KPI. Our vision is to provide the flexibility of grouping a set of KPIs in a scorecard to obtain a quick and accurate historical summary of success, spot trends and implement change.

• A measure represents a column that contains quantifiable data, usually numeric, that can be aggregated. A measure is generally mapped to a column in a table.
