Prof. Harry Tan Siew AnnNational University of SingaporeHarry Tan Siew Ann teaches basic and graduate course in Geotechnical Engineering in NUS. He has been a PLAXIS user over 15 years, and has taught PLAXIS courses in Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and India over the last 8 years. He is involved with earth reinforcement and geosynthethics research, and he is very much involved in consulting industry in Singapore and Malaysia using the PLAXIS program.

Prof. Helmut F. SchweigerGraz University of Technology (AustriaHelmut obtained his PhD form the University College of Swansea, UK and teaches courses on Advanced Soil Mechanics and Computational Geomechanics at the Graz University of Technology, Austria. He has over 15 years of experience in development and application of the finite element method in geotechnics.

Dr Lee Siew Wei Golder Associates Hong Kong (Hong Kong)Siew Wei is a Director of Golder Associates Hong Kong Ltd. He obtained PhD in geotechnical engineering from Cambridge University and MBA from HKUST. He is a qualified civil and geotechnical engineer with more than 15 years of professional experience. He has been an invited lecturer and beta tester of PLAXIS in the past 10 years. He is a Registered Simulation Engineer (Advanced level) with NAFEMS (UK), and Chairman of Association of Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental Specialists, Hong Kong, 2017-2018.

Dr William Cheang Wai LumPlaxis AsiaPac (Singapore)William obtained his PhD from the National University of Singapore. His interest is in Computational Geotechnics. He has worked as a Geotechnical Engineer in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. He is involved with many seminars and workshops around Asia for the promotion of good and effective usage of PLAXIS Finite Element Codes.

Dr Mohd Ashraf Mohamad Ismail Universiti Sains Malaysia (Malaysia)Ashraf obtained his PhD in Geotechnical Engineering from Kyoto university, Japan and teaches several courses on Soil Mechanics, Geotechnical Design and Advanced Geotechnical Engineering at Universiti Sains Malaysia. His main interest is in Geotechnical modelling and has been a PLAXIS user for the past 5 years. He is involved with underground construction under the high in-situ stresses in Malaysia and Japan and tunnelling project under the urban environment in Kuala Lumpur.
