BSBFIM601 Manage financesFinancial Management for Golf Clubs focuses on the skills and knowledge required to undertake budgeting, financial forecasting and reporting and to allocate and manage resources to achieve the required outputs for the business unit. It applies to individuals who have managerial responsibilities which include overseeing the management of financial and other resources across a business unit, a series of business units or teams, or an organisation.

BSBMGT616 Develop and implement strategic plansThis subject describes the skills and knowledge required to establish the strategic direction of the organisation, sustain competitive advantage and enhance competitiveness. It covers analysis and interpretation of relevant markets, capability assessment of the organisation and analysis of the organisation’s existing and potential competitors and allies. It also covers implementation of the strategic plan and developing specific actions and initiatives that will be undertaken by people working in various roles.

BSBMKG609 Develop a marketing plan Marketing to Attract, Retain and Re-engage members, focuses on devising marketing strategies for your golf club. You will look at potential strengths and opportunities within the organisation, to plan the best marketing tactics to implement within their organisation. Preparation of a marketing plan that meets organisational objectives, incorporating a marketing approach and strategic marketing mix.

BSBSUS501 Develop workplace policy and procedures for sustainabilityThis subject looks at the policies and procedures within the workforce, focusing on Golf Course maintenance. It involves developing and communicating workplace sustainability policies for within the workplace. Students develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in resource efficiency, setting recording systems (KPI) to track improvements in sustainability approaches.

BSBMGT605 Provide leadership across the organisationThis subject applies to senior managers who have a role in inspiring and motivating others to achieve organisational goals and to model professionalism in their organisation and industry. Leadership is seen in the context of the organisational mission. You will also address the area of Business ethics throughout this subject area.

BSBINN601 Lead and manage organisational changeLead and manage organisational change will also focus on change management. Students will work through identifying change requirements and opportunities within the organisation, prior to developing and implement a change management strategy for an organisation.

BSBMGT617 Develop and implement a business planBusiness Planning focuses on the analysing and interpreting a business vision, mission, values and objectives in the development of a business plan for an organisation. The subject will cover workplace communication and monitoring of performance of set business plan, alongside reviews of data and system processes as part of continuous business improvement.

BSBCOM603 Plan and establish compliance management systemsThe subject area focuses on current compliance requirements applicable to an organisation, through identifying and developing compliance programs and management systems. You will document and develop these plans for an organisation, before documenting the implantation of such program or system. This subject area covers all areas of regulatory compliance applicable to managers of an organisation.

BSBCUE604 Develop and maintain a service level strategyThis unit describes the skills and knowledge to establish, monitor and maintain a service level strategy in a customer engagement environment. It applies to individuals who analyse, design and execute judgements using wide-ranging technical, creative, conceptual or managerial competencies and who are responsible for group outcomes for the club.

BSBHRM604 Manage employee relationsDescribes the skills and knowledge to maintain and develop a positive and productive workplace environment. It covers all aspects of employee relations impacting on managers at a strategic level. It applies to individuals who are non-specialised in human resource management and covers a broad range of employee relations activities.

BSBRSK501 Manage riskLooks at the skills and knowledge required of managers in managing risks in a range of contexts across an organisation or a specific club environment. Applying to Club or General Managers, who have authority and are approved to implement change across the organisation, in their positions of supervising others.

BSBMGT615 Contribute to organisation developmentThis units describes the skills and knowledge required to contribute to the creation of an organisation development plan, ensuring that the organisation will become more effective over time in achieving its goals. It involves managing the development of your teams, both staff and with boards of clubs, who have responsibilities in being critically involved in shaping and focusing the organisation so that it can adapt to new technologies, challenges and markets.

Entry Requirements � 2 years experience (or equivalent) at a management level or above (eg Golf Operations or F&B Manager). � Completed Year 12 (or equivalent) or over the age of 21.
