WHAT IS PERIPHERAL DEVICES ?

A Peripheral Device is Generally defined as any auxiliary device such as acomputer mouse

or keyboard that connects to and works with the computer in some way. Other examples of peripheral are image scanner,

tape driver, microphone, loudspeakers, webcams, and digitalcameras etc.

LIGHT PEN A Light Pen is a computer input device in the form of a light sensitive

wand used in conjunction with a computer’s display. It allows the user to point to displayed objects or draw on the screen

way to a touchscreen in a similar way to a touchscreen but with greater positional accuracy

COOLING PAD

• A laptop/notebook cooler, cooler pad or chill mat is an accessory for laptop computers that helps reduce their operating temperature, which is normally used when the laptop is unable to sufficiently cool itself. Laptop coolers are intended to protect both the laptop from overheating and the user from suffering heat related discomfort.

OTG

On-The-Go, that allows USB Devices, such as digital audio player or mobile phone to act as a host, allowing other USB devices, such as USB Flash Drives, Digital Cameras, Mouse or keyboards , to be attached to them. Use of USB OTG allows those devices to switch back and forth between the roles of host and device. For instance, a mobile phone may read from removable media as the host device, but present itself as a USB Mass Storage Device when connected to a host computer.

Image Scanner• In computing, an image scanner often abbreviated to

just scanner, although the term is ambiguous out of context (barcode scanner, CAT scanner etc.) is a device that optically scans images, printed text, handwriting or an object and converts it to a digital image.

MICROPHONE

A microphone,  is a transducer that converts sound into an electrical signal. Microphones are used in many applications such as telephones, hearing aids, public

address systems for concert halls and public events, motion picture production, live and recorded audio engineering, two-way radios, megaphones, radio and television broadcasting, and in computers for recording voice, speech recognition and for non-acoustic purposes such as ultrasonic checking or knock sensors.

MEMORY CARD

• A memory card or flash card is an electronic flash memory data storage device used for storing digital information. These are commonly used in portable electronic devices, such as digital cameras, mobile phones, laptop computers, tablets, MP3 players and video game consoles.

Router A router[a] is a networking device that forwards data packets between computer networks. Routers perform the traffic directing functions on the Internet. A data packet is typically forwarded from one router to another through the networks that constitute the internetwork until it reaches its destination node.[2]

EXTERNAL HARD DISK SSD :- Solid State Drive is storage device that uses “IC” assembles as memory to store data persistently. SSD Technology have write speed is 654 mbps and read speed is 712 mbps.

HDD :- A hard disk drive is storage device used for storing and retrieving digital information using one or more rigid rapidly rotating disks (Platers) coated with magnetic material. HDD Technology have write speed is

MICRSOFT HoloLens

– Microsoft HoloLens, known under development as Project Baraboo, is a pair of mixed reality head-mounted smartglasses developed and manufactured by Microsoft. HoloLens gained popularity for being one of the first computers running the Windows Holographic platform under the Windows 10 operating system.

WEBCAM• A webcam is a video camera that feeds or streams its image in real time

to or through a computer to computer network. When "captured" by the computer, the video stream may be saved, viewed or sent on to other networks via systems such as the internet, and email as an attachment. When sent to a remote location, the video stream may be saved, viewed or on sent there. Unlike an IP camera (which connects using Ethernet or Wi-Fi), a webcam is generally connected by a USB cable, or similar cable, or built into computer hardware, such as laptops.

Joy stick• A joystick is an input device consisting of a stick that pivots

on a base and reports its angle or direction to the device it is controlling. A joystick, also known as the control column, is the principal control device in the cockpit of many civilian and military aircraft, either as acenter stick or side-stick. It often has supplementary switches to control various aspects of the aircraft's flight.

TV TUNER BOX• A TV TUNER CARD IS A KIND OF TELEVISION TUNER THAT ALLOWS

TELEVISION SIGNALS TO BE RECEIVED BY A COMPUTER. MOST TV TUNERS ALSO FUNCTION ASVIDEO CAPTURE CARDS, ALLOWING THEM TO RECORD TELEVISION PROGRAMS ONTO A HARD DISK MUCH LIKE THE DIGITAL VIDEO RECORDER

Hub

A USB hub is a device that expands a single Universal Serial Bus (USB) port into several so that there are more ports available to connect devices to a host system, similar to a power strip.

USB hubs are often built into equipment such as computers, keyboards, monitors, or printers. When such a device has many USB ports, they all usually stem from one or two internal USB hubs rather than each port having independent USB circuitry.

Game Pad

A gamepad (also called joypad), is a type of game controller held in two hands, where the fingers (especially thumbs) are used to provide input. They are typically the main method of input for video game consoles.

GRAPHIC TABLET• A graphics tablet (also known as a digitizer, drawing tablet, digital

drawing tablet, pen tablet, or digital art board) is a computer input device that enables a user to hand-draw images, animations and graphics, with a special pen-like stylus, similar to the way a person draws images with a pencil and paper. These tablets may also be used to capture data or handwritten signatures. It can also be used to trace an image from a piece of paper which is taped or otherwise secured to the tablet surface. Capturing data in this way, by tracing or entering the corners of linear poly-lines or shapes, is called digitizing.
