Receiving consortium funding and MOE funding

Q: For K-12 Districts & COEs – how will they know when they have received their monthly apportionment? What is the process?

Q: Is the MOE apportionment process different than the consortium apportionment process for K-12 adult schools?

Page 16: Adult Education Block Grant Webinar Fiscal Review December 4, 2015

Setting up how to account for MOE & Consortium funding

Q: If my K-12 Adult School receives both MOE funds and consortium funds, do we use resource code 6391 for both allocations?

Page 17: Adult Education Block Grant Webinar Fiscal Review December 4, 2015

Reporting MOE & Consortium expenditures

Q: Why do I have to report my MOE and Consortium expenditures to the State on an annual basis (each July) by the seven AEBG program areas?

Q: The State wants each consortium, every 6 months, to roll up consortium funded expenditures by object of expenditure code (1000’s, 2000’s, etc). Do I also have to do that for MOE?

Page 18: Adult Education Block Grant Webinar Fiscal Review December 4, 2015

consortium $$• The online system is still broken down by quarters

(sorry).• Don’t let that confuse you!!!
