All ADS-HRN(RS)-MA3 T-harnesses older than V1.50 and manufactured before 2016/06/16 require a modification to be compatible with the latest version of RSA-MA3 firmware (V2.1 or higher). Please follow these instructions to update the T-harness.

The manufacturer will accept no responsibility for any electrical damage resulting from improper installation of this product, be that either damage to the vehicle itself or to the installed device. This device must be installed by a certified technician. Please review this document carefully before beginning any work.

with RSA-MA3

1. Remove tape from VS1 and VS2 section of T-harness.

2. Find the green/red wire splice coming from VS1 and VS2.

3. Cut the green/red wire away from the heat shrink splice on the MS1 side.

4. Insulate the cut end of the green/red wires coming from VS1 and VS2. The green/red wire (pin 20 on VS2) will pass through from VS1 to VS2.

5. Locate the black wire in pin 9 of VS2 connector.

6. Connect the green/red wire coming from MS1 to the black wire in pin 9 of VS2.

7. Do not connect white MS3 connector to module.

8. Do not connect loose yellow/white, white and white/black wires coming from the T-harness.
