HOW TO PARTICIPATE

1. Volunteer your group.

The Adopt-A-School Day project is a great way for groups to make an impact in Hawaii’sschools. In the past, groups have ranged from civic clubs, Jaycee Chapters, and privatebusinesses. Gather your peers, friends, collegues and make a difference today.

Be a part of the process and make your commitment count. Adopt-A-School Day is a solely operatedvolunteer project, and every person can make a difference. There are two ways to make yourdifference count by volunteer your group or volunteer yourself. For more information, contact [email protected].

Don’t have a group to work with? Contact your local Jaycee chapter for more information onhow you can participate in their Adopt-A-School Day project. To nd the one nearest you,visit the Hawaii Jaycees’ state webpage online at: www.hawaiijaycees.org.

types of sponsorship is available to t your needs and commitments.

2. Advertising Sponsorship

Advertising Sponsorship will help to promote and build awareness for the project.

3. In-Kind DonationsIn-Kind Donations will help in the daily operations and procurement of the project.

3 Ways to sponsor

We invite you to join the Hawaii State Jaycees and dozens of community organizations inestablishing Adopt-A-School Day as an annual day of service to our schools in Hawaii. Operatedsolely on volunteer efforts, sponsorships, and donations, the Adopt-A-School Day project seeks yourhelp. Adopt - A - School Day is astatewide grassroots effort toestablish an annual day ofawareness and service to ourHawaii schools. Similar to Make ADifference Day, AASD, works withorganizations and schools to createONE DAY were collaboration,vision, and service can make adifference.

Last year, we involved 50 groups toassist 60 schools in fullling theirneeds. Service includedbeautifying campuses,implementing new schoolprograms, offering career skillstraining, providing donations, andimproving daily maintenance care.
