Topic for my final project is creating a website using Adobe Dreamweaver.

What are the features in Dreamweaver?

Adobe Dreams comes full packed with features; these are some of the main features we will cover in the lesson:

• Useful Standard features – enables the developer to view the browser version and page’s HTML code. Ability to drag and drop elements on web page in design process.

• Integration and Compatability – integrates with other Adobe applications and supports web technologies

• Media implementation – photos, videos and music files may be selected and pasted in a Dreamweaver document

Difference bewteen website and webpage?

Website - a connected group of pages on the World Wide Web regarded as a single entity, usually maintained by one person or organization and devoted to a single topic or several closely related topics.

Webpage - a document on the World Wide Web, consisting of an HTML file and any related files for scripts and graphics, and often hyperlinked to other documents on the Web.

Images, Links, and Content

Image – could be a visual representation a scene, person or abstraction

Examples:

Clipart,

digital image

Link - link and a hyperlink are the same

thing.

A link is a reference on a webpage that

references some other place on the same page or somewhere else on

the Internet.

If text is "clickable" that means it is a

hyperlink.

Content – the text information that

goes into your web

For example: Information about

yourself

• Use a table to organize your content

• You may use the same layout we used in the lesson

• Have 3 different links/hyperlinks directing to other pages within your website
